AIRO GROM International is a charitable organisation based in Warsaw. Our work is built on two commitments: practical, disinterested help for people connected with military and uniformed service, and the lasting memory of our patron, Eugeniusz Jan Pietrzyk.
Service in the armed forces or in a uniformed formation often asks a great deal of a person and of their family. When service ends, or when illness, injury, loss of income or family hardship arrives, many people find that the gratitude they were promised does not always translate into daily support. We exist to help close that gap.
Our assistance is given without expectation of payment or return. We support current and former soldiers, officers of uniformed services, veterans, combatants and their families, and we look at every situation individually, with discretion and respect for the person asking.
The Foundation also honours its patron. Eugeniusz Jan Pietrzyk is remembered for his contribution to the struggle for independence and for the defence of the Republic of Poland. Keeping his memory alive is part of how we pass on the values of duty, responsibility and solidarity.
